After a week of celebration, Claire officially turned 2 today (the 5th). A week ago Saturday, we celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa Whittington and the Olson side of my family. She had fun playing with her cousins and enjoying her DQ princess icecream cake! Last Friday we had a joint birthday celebration for Claire and her friend Kayla, who both share the same birthday (they are about 12 hours apart!). They enjoyed playing and eating cupcakes with thier friends. Then onto her actual birthday. We had planned for a while to head to Nelsons Farm to pick pumpkins and go on a hay ride amongst other fun things, but the weather stopped us from going so we played inside all day, which made up for not going to the farm! Claire opened a few gifts and we went out for icecream. Hopefully we can catch the farm next weekend! She still has one more celebration this upcoming weekend, YIKES!! We still cannot beleive she is 2 years old, she has grown so much in the past year and she is such a joy to our lives. The thing we are most enjoying from her now is her growing personality and verbal progression.
