Claire birthday went by in a flash after almost 2 weeks of celebrating! We had her friend birthday party on the 4th, a day before her actual birthday, which consisted of 9 friends, a pinata, cupcakes, presents, play and a tired MOM! The look in her eyes was sooo worth the chaos and I did have fun with the help of Rachel, thanks so much to you, couldn't have done it without you! JP did come about half way through the party to help also. She chose to have a Toy Story theme, she loves TS3! The day of her birthday, we celebrated in the morning with the 5 of us and she opened her doll that she was extactic about! A little story about the doll: JP has called Claire "Sunny" for the longest time, fits with her personality, and when she stated that she wanted an American Girl doll for her birthday, I was looking hard for the right on and she had taken interest in a couple, UNTIL the day I was in Target and this doll was calling to me, it was like waiting for me to purchase her, she was a long blonde haired, hazel, grayish eyed doll and her name, yes, "SUNNIE"!!!!!! I was flabergasted (sp?) by the find and of course had to go with her!!!! Claire loved her at first sight and they are inseperable!!!! Dance and a birthday dinner was in order for that night! We also celebrated with our wonderful friends, the Oplands and Martinez's the following night. Her family birthday party was a week and a half after her actual birthday, Nama and Pa came in to celebrate, Nama Linda came for 2 days and enjoyed watching Karlies last soccer game also. Playing with cousins, Great Aunt Nancy, Uncle Tim, Great Grandma and 2 Nams and a Pa was all she needed that day!!! We had a wonderful brunch, great conversation and laughs!!! Thanks to all who made it! Can't believe Clairey is 4, time goes way too fast and we can't wait for more wonderful memories with our baby girl!
