You don't know how great you have until your wonderful, thoughtful husband offers to take the girls to the cabin over Labor Day weekend so Mom can catch up on rest and things. I was hesitant at first, not because I didn't trust him taking them by himself (his parents were up there too), but I felt guilty about him having to travel 4.5 hours alone by himself and also I really wanted to be with them and of course would miss them terribly. BUT, I really needed to catch up on sleep that I have not been getting and it was a good chance for me to catch up on scrapbooking and the house! I did go to the State Fair with mom, Heather and Tim on sunday to get out a little. It was wonderful having the piece and quiet, but I did miss them lots!!!! They spent great one-on-one time with Dad and had fun poking a huge frog, swimming, playing at the park, relaxing with Nama, Pa and Nanny and just lounging around! I was so excited to hear about their fun and to see the pictures. Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!
