First week of Summer Preschool

My baby girl is finally in Preschool!! Yes, it is definately emotional seeing your first baby go off to school and not knowing how she will be. BUT she did wonderfully, the teachers said it was like she was always there, thats how comfortable she felt! I stayed in the car while the teachers opened the car door and took them out. She walked into school like such a BIG girl and then I lost it!!! This week, Tuesday and Thursday, was Karlies first official 2 days of preschool. Its a summer class that she took (Bird Watching), but will then be officially considered a "Kings Kid" come this Fall, starting in September. In her class she made all kinds of projects; birds nests, a bird house and bird feeder. They went on a walk with thier handmade binoculars and saw Robins and such. She said she was most excited about playing on the schools playground and meeting some new friends (she says "its hard to remember thier names mom" :) and of course playing with her current friends, Sophia and Cody that also took the class. Claire did miss her sister lots while she was gone for the 2 1/2 hours each day. JP and I couldn't be more proud of our Karlie!!! She makes us so happy.
